| I have always been intrigued by the ideas, controversy and brilliant design the world of art incites. Growing up in the idyllic town of Lake Forest, Illinois, I fell in love with the romantic architecture of the 1930’s and 1940’s. But it was my Mother’s Architectural Digest Magazines, with their over-sized black and white images of Modern California Architecture and Design, and her Vogue Magazines filled with Irving Penn and Richard Avedon photography of haute couture which truly influenced me. It is this level of creativity which motivates my desire to offer women unique, beautifully designed jewelry which supersedes the boundaries of age, time of day or event. The act of choosing an accessory should be inventive and fun. Selecting a beautiful, well-designed necklace, earring or bracelet should excite a creative moment; an act of personal expression which reveals a mood, a whimsy, a statement. It should be your creative moment. |
